I’ve been having a nightmare with my Range Rover Sport this week. The battery has been getting weaker and weaker, and this morning it finally gave up the ghost with that dreaded clicking sound that tells you you’re not going anywhere. I’m stuck in Musaffah Industrial and I need to find a workshop that can handle this properly, not just any random garage that’ll throw a cheap battery in and hope for the best. I’ve been reading up on it, and I know that these newer Range Rovers need a specific AGM battery and the Battery Management System (BMS) has to be reset and calibrated after fitting, otherwise the car will think the old battery is still in place and ruin the new one . I’m looking for a workshop that can do a Range Rover battery replacement across Musaffah from a premium workshop that uses OEM-spec parts and has the proper diagnostic tools to handle the coding. Ideally, they’d also offer mobile fitting so I don’t have to risk getting the car towed . Has anyone here used a good Range Rover specialist in the Musaffah area recently that they can recommend? I’d rather pay a bit more for peace of mind than risk messing up the electronics on this car.
