So I managed to crack my driver side fog light housing on my way back from Ruwais last week, I think a rock or something kicked up from the road and it’s not just the bulb that’s gone, the whole plastic casing is shattered and I can see moisture getting in there which is obviously going to cause electrical issues down the line if I don’t get it sorted soon. I already bought a replacement housing from a parts shop but honestly I’m not confident about installing it myself because I don’t want to mess up the wiring or the alignment, and the dealership quoted me an insane amount just for the labor which seems ridiculous for what should be a straightforward job. I’m not looking for some fancy modification or anything, just a place that knows what they’re doing and won’t charge me an arm and a leg for what’s essentially removing the old unit and plugging in the new one properly. I heard there’s an expert car light repair service in Musaffah Abu Dhabi that deals with this kind of stuff regularly, but I haven’t been able to find much information about them online or any reviews from people who’ve actually used them. Has anyone here had any work done on their headlights or fog lights at a place in that area and can tell me if they’re worth checking out or if I should keep looking elsewhere?
