What are the actual Audi transmission warning signs I should be watching for?

I’ve been driving around for a few weeks now with this nagging feeling that something isn’t quite right with my car, but I can’t decide whether I’m being paranoid or whether I should be worried. My 2015 A4 has done about 115,000 kilometres and over the last month or so I’ve noticed a few things that might be nothing but might be something. There’s a slight hesitation when I pull away from a stop, not every time, just occasionally, and sometimes a faint shudder at low speeds that comes and goes depending on the day. No warning lights, no limp mode, nothing that shows up on a scanner, which is almost worse because I can’t prove anything to a mechanic and I’m worried they’ll just fob me off like the last two did. I know these gearboxes can show symptoms long before they throw a fault code, and by the time the warning appears you’re often looking at a much bigger repair than if you’d caught it early. What I’m trying to work out is which symptoms actually matter and which ones are just normal behaviour for a car of this age. I came across a guide listing Audi transmission warning signs to watch for, which was helpful up to a point, but I’d rather hear from real owners about what they noticed first and what turned out to be serious versus what was a false alarm. Was it noise, jerking, delayed engagement, slipping, smells, leaks, or something else entirely? And is there anything you can check yourself without needing a garage, like fluid colour or leaks underneath, that might give you an early clue? I’d also like to know whether it’s worth getting it looked at now before anything actually breaks, or whether that just wastes money on diagnostics for something that might never develop. Any honest experiences would be really appreciated because I’m stuck between wanting to be proactive and not wanting to be fleeced for a problem that doesn’t exist.
