TALK AI Think Tanks, held on 1st Thursdays, give you a chance to listen, absorb, and integrate your knowledge with expert counsel being offered live. Join us at our regular location of the Flashcube Building, 9300 Shelbyville Road, 7th Floor Conference Room! We welcome you to introduce yourself after the presenter and offer a bit of information on AI books, policies, available demos of interest, your insights from the work you do, or other interesting articles for others to read.
So join us on Sept. 3rd, the 1st Thursday, to hear from Bismit Pratapsingh, On-Site Program Manager, Infosys – Oracle Tower, who will present on “Enterprise AI Transformation: From ERP to Intelligent Enterprise.”
Gary Boice, formerly of Boice.Net, will speak about his international work under Tek4Kids. Tek4Kids is using AI technology in Jeremie, Haiti to:
- Simplify management – add/drop and configuring all devices.
- Monitor and gather statistics on networks, including 9 Starlinks.
- Purify water production in seven locations – around 500,000 gallons of water each year.
- Track educational devices – interactive projectors and laptop utilization.
- Support energy devices – solar panels, inverters, batteries.
- Troubleshoot at least 90% of the day-to-day issues for an international nonprofit.
- Create a dashboard for monitoring and as a way to visually display data.
The AI that Tek4 Kids is implementing greatly enhances the organization’s ability to remotely manage complicated and diverse challenges in developing countries. AI is an integral piece of Tek4Kid’s educational and infrastructure supporting 4,000 students in 7 schools.
