Join GLI as we hear from Kentucky House Appropriations and Revenue Chair, Jason Petrie, on the state’s budget, continued tax reform, and efforts to make Kentucky a more competitive business environment, at the third installment of GLI’s 2024 Capitol Connection series, presented by Norton Healthcare.

Rep. Petrie was first elected in 2017 and represents counties in Western Kentucky. In his leadership role, he oversees the creation of the House’s biennial budget proposal and works with colleagues in the Senate to pass a balanced state budget. Last year’s budget included more than $425 million in Louisville-specific investments including for downtown projects, new programs at the University of Louisville, and more.
