2024 DE&I Series: Women Leading Kentucky

GLI’s 2024 DE&I Series presented by Humana culminates with a special keynote presentation by Kentucky’s Lieutenant Governor, Jacqueline Coleman, on the ongoing challenges facing women in the Commonwealth. She will discuss barriers women face in business, education, and politics, and share her own journey as a female educator, nonprofit founder, and one of the state’s highest ranking leaders.

Before being elected Lieutenant Governor, Coleman founded Lead Kentucky, which ensures Kentucky’s college women are prepared, encouraged, and empowered to seek leadership positions on their campuses and later in their professional lives. While in office, she revived the Kentucky Commission on Women which is dedicated to elevating the status of women and girls in the Commonwealth, empowering them to overcome barriers to equity, and expanding opportunities to achieve their fullest potential.
