To say Larry is a mover and a shaker is an understatement! He is simply the best when it comes to getting people connected, so they can do great things together. As our fierce leader and head coach, he stays active in the community while keeping our team focused on Amplify’s game plan: to be the best at leading, partnering and supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem for Louisville.
Larry comes to Amplify as a serial entrepreneur and was previously the Director of Startup Ecosystem Development for Louisville through Techstars. Larry has an MBA from the University of Louisville and co-founded four early-stage venture-backed startups. Larry also serves on the Volunteers of America, Mid-States; University of Louisville Alumni Association; Metro United Way; Actors Theatre of Louisville, University of Louisville’s College of Business Advisory, and International Business Innovation Association boards. He loves bacon, startups, and several loveable loser sports teams. Larry lives in Louisville with his wife, Emma, kid-preneurs, Myles and Ava, and their pupperoni, Buttercup.

Something remarkable: giving back. He’s serves on the boards of Volunteers of America, Mid-States; University of Louisville Alumni Association; Metro United Way; Actors Theatre of Louisville, University of Louisville’s College of Business Advisory, and International Business Innovation Association and makes time to do countless coffee and bourbon meetings with fellow entrepreneurs and community builders.
Fun Fact: Larry has been in over 20 weddings as a groom, best man, groomsman, or usher! 🤵🏻
